Bottle of Buckfast (also known as Ned's Champagne).

Buckfast is made in England from a French recipe so it would not be likely to be included in a Scottish hamper!

My point was, I live in Scotland and when I look out my window I don't see a kilt-wearing fella eating shortbread and drinking whisky before playing the bagpipes. Instead, I see a tracksuit-wearing fella eating a kebab and drinking Buckfast before singing Celtic/Rangers songs.

I see . . . sorry I don't know of anyone who drinks the stuff so I did not get you, I am guessing you are in the West with the old firm reference (not that it matters there are NEDs everywhere and I'm sure they drink any form of strong cheap alcohol from Brighton to Thurso).

If the hamper had to contain something that can be seen out of the window in Scotland I reckon it would be full of gratuitous roadworks

Oh and if you want to see a kilt-wearing fella eating shortbread, drinking whisky playing the bagpipes you need only walk past certain tourist shops ;)

Not entered this but had to comment, seriously not a bump. Stereotype of village where Ilive on IOW is sex starved and stupid. I only fit the latter. ;) Apparently made the NOTW years ago and no one told me when I bought here it was called Sin City. I am the youngest of 60 bungalows in my street at 59 and 3/4 so I do understand about wrongly stereotyped places
