Mob phone debt

DD3 has gone abroad to uni for a year. Before she went, she had a dispute with Vodaphone, who had overcharged her. She tried to get it sorted b4 going abroad, but without success. The debt has now been passed to a debt collecting co. (DCL) who are persuing her at her home address (ie here!). I have told them she is abroad, but nothing else, they have asked me to contact her & to tell her to contact them, which I have done. She has done an ostrich impression (head in sand!!) & hasn't got back to me or them. I really would like to know, what I can do to fend them off, but I don't really want to get involved as I have PLENTY of debt of my own, & don't really feel up to dealing with this as well.
Anyone any bright ideas?? All suggestions will be gratefully received & passed on:confused:

    They can't make you pay a debt that's not yours, simple as.
