The bookpeople... seller of awesomely priced books has an offer 4 top titles for £12. This includes the hardback copy of the Half Blood Prince. Not bad considering it RRP'S £16.99 and can also be taken in the 2 for £7 offers.

Fast and efficient people as well, I took them up on their friends books and had them within 48 hours of purchase.

Also think I spotted 10 kids picture books for £10.

The Book People sale is on now. www.thebookpeople.co.uk Worth stocking up for pressies - especially for children. They've got 10 picture books for £9.99 - these are the ones that usually sell for between £4 and £5 each in the shops. This time they are listed so you know what you're getting.

There are loads of other books and they're mostly in the multiple buy offers, such as 3 books for £7.50 or 5 books for £10, and other options. Some good stuff there and postage is free if you spend over £25 (which I could easily do!).

One tip, though - if you are regularly tempted by these book bargains, keep a list of what you give to whom. I was told off by my friend's son for giving him the same book for Christmas two years running. Oops!!
