Hi
Thank you all for your response. If im honest i have been making sure everything is locked for a long time now. I have spoken to nationaldebtline today and they were fab!! They advised me to write a letter to the balliffs ( recorded delivery) stating that the levy is unlawful as i have never allowed them into my home although the balliff has stepped into the door, also that the levy made was not detailed enough, he had literally written down sofa, pc and tv, thats all.
I was also advised to advise the local council of the situation adn i am awaiting to hear back from them, to cover myself i have also put it in writing!!!
I just want the 12th of December to roll on now!!!
The debt is overpayment of council tax benefit and just unpaid council tax benefit. i ma managing to pay back the overpayment of rent but i was hoping to add this to my BC , is it true that i wont be able to add this?
thansk again

Haha yes particularly if i ensure they have had plenty of sugar and cherry pop !!! Im just glad worse case scenario if they do come in they cant take anything of the girls, not that they have had loads , they dont even have a games console.
Does anyone know what kind of things they will take? dvds, cds? when i think about it things a are pretty basic here so i think they will struggle to get past the 200 mark let alone more !!0 -
Can you bring your BR date forward? Is it appointment system or can you not just go to court and wait to get seen? Would be a real kick in teeth if you could show them copy of the BR order when they turn up?
Or see if the court will notify you of a cancellation so that you could get seen in someone else's spot who had to cancel?BSC #215/No.1 Jan 09 Club0 -
unlikely they will bother with smaller items like cd's or dvd's. they looking for larger items of more value. but most people only have a tv or a pc and to be honest once you have had the tv or pc for a few years, they go down in value pretty quickly. and as regards the sofa, well I am not sure they could take it if it leaves you nothing to sit on? Is it new?
I have two border collies who are softies but bark like mad at the door getting knocked on and would jump up against the door. good for giving them a fright! If you like!

Hi ,
I have an 18 year old daughter who loves sitting by the front door and barks when the postman arrives!! You can borrow her if you like -I'm told by her college tutors that she's very bright but if they saw her sitting by the letter box they would change their minds!!! I can't decide if it's nature or nurture thats caused her problems!!

Are your forms all ready for BR? If not get them done and ring up for cancellation as Don79 advised.
