Currys - discounts???

Does anyone know anything about what Currys are doing in the light of their having financial troubles?
Married the absolute love of my life on Sunday May 6th and I couldnt be happier!!!

Cutting costs, I am one of a couple of hundred Engineers that have been made redundant,they have put off a lot of capital expenditure in order to preserve cash, given that their average mark up is now around 8%, I cant see a great downword movement in price's.0

You will actually be less likely to see discounts now, with them having money trouble's, it means they will have to tighten their ship.
Think about it logically, it cost's money to run their stores, employ staff etc, so their small markup's arnt actually making a lot of profit on each thing they sell. Their pricing strategy has produced much lower pricing for the consumer in the past few years, things cost a lot less than they used to, if this had'nt have happened, they would have gone under a long time ago.
Dixon's are always running promotions etc, but of course, they are online only, hence the reason they can reduce prices.0
