The Loanhead Primary School Christmas Fayre
is taking place at Kilmarnock Academy,Kilmarnock,tomorrow,
Saturday 29th November 2008 from 10am-1pm.
Last years event was such an unexpected success that a bigger venue had to be booked for this year ,therefore the schools associated secondary school,Kilmarnock Academy,is the venue so that everyone can come and have a pleasant experience.
Some of the stalls include the Killie signed shirt/signed football raffle,home baking,bottle stall,chocolate stall,gift stalls,game stalls,craft stall,christmas toy and stocking filler stalls.Homemade items and branded items at fantastic prices.
The baking,chocolate and bottle stall are made up of generously donated items from parents and family of loanhead pupils and friends of loanhead school and there are bargains galore to be found,the bottle stall sold out of wine last year in about 20 mins after opening and no wonder at the prices they were charging.
Santa will be there too-entry to the grotto is £2.50
Entry to the Fayre is just £1 and this includes refreshments,tea,coffee,juice,mince pie,shortbread.
All profits are for school funds.
last years fayre raised aroung £800 and this was spent on books for the schools libraries,musical instruments and to subsidise the cost of the panto for the children.
