    Ok chaps point taken!

I'm fully aware there are cheaper prices online. I'm talking about walking into a typical high street shop a buying on the day (which I had to do!)

    Sorry, but....
You could and maybe still can, get 50 Mitsubishi + or - or a mix, at your local Wilkinsons, 2 x 25 packs on bogof, same price.
They work on the tempremental/ fussy Asda Cyberhome too.

£4.99 will get you a spindle of 50 of the Ritek brand amongst many others, cheap cartridges, cheap printers and more. :j

I would stay away from Ritek DVD's, there's been a lot of info posted on DVD longevity after discovering the shockingly low duration before DVD's can become unreadable. All DVD's will degrade over time due to the moisture in the air etc. but certain brands (Ritek) can seriously degrade within 3 months after burning. There's lots of info in the cdfreaks forums about this along with shed loads of info on DVD brand/dye quality.

Prior to Christmas Currys had 10x Panasonic DVD-Ram for £16.99, normally £19.99.
Argos sometimes do Bogofs on their Panasonic 5 packs which used to be £14.99, new catalogue out soon, will be interesting to see if they still do them or otherwise existing stock will get sold off cheaply.
Comet also sell them, all Panasonic. so there doesn't seem much competiton.

I had a voucher to spend so got 25 pk of Philips DVD-r in Woolworths a month or so ago - very unreliable - ended up with several coasters - will avoid in future.
