I wanna buy an Epson R300

Does anyone know the cheapest place to buy the Epson R300? Or is there a better/ equally as good one for around the same money? The cheapest I've seen it is £99.99 from Toys R Us.
I'm mainly going to be using it for documents, photos and t-shirt transfers for my daughter. Has to produce good quality images and not be too expensive for cartridges.
Thanks xx

Epson R300 Photo Printer is currently £79.99 at Argos. I haven't seen it much cheaper than that.
It is a very good quality 6 cartridge photo printer. Epson cartridges are expensive (around £11 each?), but compatibles are widely available online for around £2-£4 eachPeople are more important than things0 -
Great printer. If you want it delivered from Amazon, it is £82.48. I bought one of these before Xmas from Amazon and can thoroughly recommend it. It takes 6 ink cartridges. You can get compatible replacement ones from 7dayshop for 0.99p each, which really keeps down the running costs. Epson ones are £8 or £9 each if you want these.0

Epson Genuine cartridges are only £8.48 including vat or £33.49 for the whole set and delivery is a silly £1.41 inc.

But the Argos one is certainly a good buy. Bought mine there early summer ay £99.99, but it's worth every penny.
Just to add, I would avoid cheap compatible cartridges, especially during the warranty period. If anything goes wrong and Epson find you've been using compatibles they'll wash their hands of it.0 -
I have the R300 for nearly 1 year and it is a very good printer and would highly reccomend it, I have only used 1 set of genuine epson inks in the printer (the set that comes free with it) as I am not paying between £8 - £12 per cartridge as it is a rip off when you can get compatible inks for £1 each and they are just as good as the epson ones and you save money as well0

I have had an R300 for around a year also cost me £99 in a sale a while ago - Only original ink i used was freebies i got with it - Saved more money in the first 3 months with compatible cartridges than the printer cost0

I have an R300 and have had it for about 18 months now. It is a great printer and the printing onto CDs is a great bonus. I only ever use cheap cartridges from https://www.northdevoncomputers.com which work out at about £1 each.
Previously I had an Epson Photo 950 but it went wrong about 3 months outside of warranty. Epson were brilliant and asked me to take it to a local Epson recommended repairer. He couldn't repair it so Epson gave me the R300 in exchange. Fantastic customer service.
Epson will not wash their hands of you if you use unbranded inks unless the problem has been caused by them. My 950 only had genuine inks in when it was new, after that they were cheapies.0
