Title says it all really - rumour (and I stress it is only a rumour thusfar) that PRIMARK is gonna move into the building currently occupied by Woolies.

This has been confirmed. :-) They're taking over the Woolworths building and have applied for a 6,000 sq foot extension! (I have a friend who works on the council) :j

It's in the paper as well, plus the planning permission is stuck on the front of woolies already - however it's subject to the plans being approved - sounds like a big extension to the current building.

I'm sure the council will give it the go ahead as they're desperate to get more trade in the city. I'm so excited (sad I know!) I remember when the building used to be a C&A and I was gutted when that closed down!
