New here - hi

Hello, i joined a while ago but yesterday and today has been the first time i have properly looked around and to be honest, don't really know where to start!

I don't at this point want to share my outgoings and ingoings, i probably will once i am settled here. (Hope thats ok)

But basically, i need to earn more money as at the moment i am struggling tbh.
I need to make money to pay of credit cards, i do have a couple of loans but want to pay the cards off first.

Any ideas welcome, thank you so much and i look forward to replys.

Oh a little bit about me perhaps!
I am Shelley, 24yrs old and i live with my partner and little girl who is 13 months old. Partner works 50 hours a week and i work 21 hours a week.

Hi and welcome to the forum.

When you are reading posting your SOA is a really good starting point. No one here is judgemental and you will get so much advice. If I looked back at my first SOA to what it is now I bet I have knocked off not far off £400.

Anyway, do that when you are ready as no rush.

If you need to raise some more cash take a look at the "Up your income" board there are lots of ideas on there to raise some money and many are computer based so can be done in the evenings or your spare time.

Also take a look at the make £10 a day thread on here. There is a new one up for December but if you look at the November one and read through you will find loads of information on how people are raising extra money.

Good luck with your journey and stick around.

    :hello:Hi smarties
you have nothing to fear here, if you need time to settle thats ok:D

you and your OH work a lot of hours and looking after a little un wil be a strain on your time
It is difficult to say where you can make savings without your SOA

    but the usualls are
If you can buy online go through a cashback site, from monthly/weekly shopping Insurance Utilities that can add up to a good saving and cheaper deals

Ebay or carboot what you can for a quickish few extra £s

Daily clicks and survey sites, a bit time consumming but worth it to save up a few extra £s for next Xmas

Just join in we are a good lot on here :A

  • Ahh thank you so much for the kind welcome. I have been looking at the £10 a day thing and as much as i would love to do it, i really don't think i could possibly earn that much a day.
I have tonight listed items on ebay so fingers crossed they sell. I am with British gas for electric and gas but i am not in credit so cannot move to another supplier because BG will want what i owe and i haven't got that much to give them, other wise i would swop.

    What are clicks?

Thank you and i will do the ingoings and outgoings thing, when i get chance!
Yes we do work alot of hours, i would love to be a stay at home mum and if i didn't have debt i probably would be, but its my own stupid fault for getting in this mess xxx
  • Just out of interest, i see many of you have paid thousands of your debts in just a few months.....HOW? xxx and WELL DONE
  • You guys are such an inspiration
  • Well done on the Ebay hope they sell well,
I havn't really looked at the £10 a day but i think you can set your own target
no one is going to have a go if you don't make your target maybe advice on getting it up so you can

Daily clicks are good for saving for things a bit of a way off, click on certain sites and get a few pennies but add up over time
Eagerleaner has a great thread about it, and if you PM her she'll send you a list:A
