Im going to post a full SOA at the end of the month, no point doign it now as wages, tax credits, benefits are all changing and im not 100% sure myself what they'll all be.
But so far
- Cancelled sky so gone from £52 pm to £10pm
- Cancelled Gym membership - £30pm
- Changed car insurance saving £189 over the year. Used £200 of my savings and the other £150 is on a credit card which was lower interest than the insurance company would of charged me over the eyar
- Claimed my British Gas rebate so £30 should be with me by the end of Jan
- Got £33 refunded from car insurance
- Cancelled mobile phone insurance - £5.99 per month
- Cancelled something from BT that i werent even sure what it was £1.50pm
- Started shuffling my debts around to my lower rate cards
Feeling much better for it all, actually looking forward to my bills coming in this month and hopefully seeing the amount coming down and finding what else i can change/cancel/adjust

Excellent. I'm addicted to saving money now thanks to this site. It's such a good feeling when you go "nah, don't need that" £40, or "I can get it cheaper than that" £25 etc. It all adds up.Happy chappy0

Here I am! determined to take some financial responsibility for once in my life.
I've already saved £120 pa by changing my home & contents insurance as directed by this fantastic site!
Next job is to pay off the catalogue account, old credit card (that I had the sense to cut up a year ago but am still paying for) and a store account when I needed a new washing machine which when I add up the interest has probably cost about £800.
I'm with you all on the debt busting trail, we'll do it!!!!!
It already feels damn good having just made a small start today by going through all my statements and finance/policy files to get everything up to date and in order.
....Linda xxIt's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0
