Rice is one of the top foods for food poisoning. It forms spores which are very dangerous. I personally wouldn't risk it, especially as rice is so cheap anyway.

You shouldnt be putting a risotto you made 5 mins ago in your fridge as it will raise the temp in the fridge and your food will go off quicker.May £10 a day challenge£19.61/£310Ebay challenge...£12.61/£2000

I just threw away a load of cooked rice this evening. ds decided he wasn't hungry. Thatll be because he came home via the chippie.
If I am going to make fried rice the next day I cool the rice quickly by running cold water over it in the coander in the sink then put it straight into the fridge. But as we are having roast tomorrow I just threw it away. I am a bit scared by all the food poisoning stories and don't want to risk it either.Anyone who lives within their means suffers from a lack of imagination:beer:
