New Years Day In Belfast

Sorry if this is off topic :(

Im working new years eve so was thinking of booking into a hotel in Belfast city centre on new years day for the night with the girlfriend to keep the peace :)

Would any of the shops/ bars / restaurants be open on new years day or would we confined to the hotel?

Thanks for looking...

Nearly all the big shops will be open - they open about 10am and close around 4 or 5pm. I think you'll find many of the bars open too.

I usually hit the sales on New Years Day as the shops aren't very busy.
  • Thanks, there is some good deals on hotels :)
