    Merry Christmas everyone!

Ohh Jesa you lucky thing are you off to Florida?!

Had a fab night last night and won £100 on the bingo!
  • Merry Christmas to you all. Hope you're having a good day.

Have some additions to my total: £2.72 in Boots points from the online sale. £50 for my birthday yesterday from my lovely MIL, which I have spent in Boots today on lots and lots of goodies to keep me in smellies all year...(hopefully!) Definitely a gift that will keep on giving!

And finally a very naughty and much appreciated £500 from my mum to take OH and I to Bruges.

Well done on your bingo winnings :j I didn't get a chance to get back on but did do my scratchcards quickly - 30p.

I've wanted to go to Florida for years since I visited 15 years ago with my dad and because he knew OH and I wanted to go back he gave us the money towards it. We really wanted to stay at one of the nicer in-park hotels, probably the Animal Kingdom one, so now we can :D I'm so exited! Can't wait to book it.

My brother gave me £20 instead of a pressie so I can get that off a magazine subscription I wanted to get and I've just done my scratchcards again - 30p today too

My boxing day money making /saving tips:
Play.com are giving ten free sales in January on Playtrade, so anyone who hasn't listed DVDs, CDs, games or books with them before - this could be a good time to start. OR if you already list with them you can afford to undercut some other sellers in Jan while there are no fees to pay for the first ten

Amazon are giving away a free £3 (or £3 off) download today (and yesterday). I just downloaded the Ting Tings album for free

Quidco are giving away a free iTunes download for 12 days from today - funnily enough its a Ting Tings video today http://www.quidco.com/free-itunes

Me neither - since finding MSE I no longer feel the constant need to shop, especially not today!

I think Virgin holidays are going to do some good deals next month so I'm keeping my fingers crossed

  • Same here. Now i think well i could buy it or i could use the money to pay x amount off the debt!

Have you looked at virtualtourist. com? thats where we found a great deal last year on flights to New York.

I was given some gift cards as crimble pressies - I received a £10 Boots one from my ex (we are still friends) and a £50 M&S one from my parents which along with the £25 they gave me last month for my birthday will be used towards a trouser suit:j
