in Cutting tax
Hi All,
my DD (17) has just got a xmas job in a toy store. She will be working 27 hours per week for the minimum wage.
Could somebody advise me what her net pay will be?
Many thanks in advance

Assuming that she's had no income at all since April, and she ticks the correct box on form P46 (which she should, obtain, complete and ensure is forwarded to payroll) then no tax would be deducted and she'd receive the full amount of her wage.
I don't think she'd pay NI on £95.31 per week either.0 -
NI is a minimum of £105 a week I think so won't have to pay that.
Income tax is even more than this (£6035/52 is £116 a week).
Her net should be the amount shes earning.0 -
Your third job will always be BR.
You have your allownace in your first 2 jobs which is calcualted by their payroll giving you the total of £6035 tax free allowance. You pay tax on everything after this meaning your 3rd job you will always pay tax. (Because your tax free allowance has already been taken into account with the first and second job)
Fs and then the post is deleted. Useful.0 -
post was deleted because i meant to start a new thread not tag it onto a another posters thread.
