Hmmm...a bit of a generalisation, isn't it? I took a flat tyre to them, they found it was repairable (puncture in centre of tread) and did it for FREE!

I took my car to Kwick Fit for a oil and filter change.
Checked oil less than a week later, the mechanics hadn't put any oil in!! No oil leaks nothing, un-explainable. I took it back to them, and they checked everything over, and their answer was soory, we'll give you a free oil change next time, my reply obviously was... there won't be a next time.


I've head other people visit there with similar reports to mine.

Looks like garages can legally charge for retests depending on certain conditions. The conditions stated on the vosa site look to favour the garages unfortunatly.
