abt time.. I dont drink therefore im normally the designated driver but it can cost me more for the soft drinks than it would bor alcholic drinks.. well done yates.. hope the rest follow

trouble is with this idea is that they will stop doing it if it gets abused .. like most freebies on here

They've obviously spent time thinking about this offer to attract custom.

Soft drinks cost them pennies. I'd also be buying spirits, where they make a lot of money.
Equally, I could just drink soft drinks all day and nothing else - exactly how the offer is promoted.

Also, only a handful will have the knowledge of this offer so the loss is nothing. Generally speaking they would have succeeded with their promotion to basically attract most customers.

yes i agree that soft drinks cost pennies to the pubs but not to the general public can cost over £2 some over £3 to buy a coke.. if it was such a great idea why dont they and all the other pubs do it throughout the rest of the year.. that way most people including me would go more often..

It seems they have thought of this, in T&C number 5: Yates’s Bars have the right to refuse free soft drinks to people they feel have abused the offer, either by mixing alcohol with the soft drinks,
