I want to make a quilt similar to this http://flickr.com/photos/35465843@N00/2717532200/in/set-72157606112817527/
I have the book and pattern instructions but I don't know of any fabric/quilt shops near me so will prob have to buy the fabric online (unless anyone knows where I can get fabric in Cumbria/North Lancs)
Anyone know of anywhere online that will help me select the fabric so I don't end up with colours that don't go?
thanks

i've had a little google and i don't know how close these are, but there are some options:
http://www.fun2do.co.uk/about.shtml
http://www.cumbriasewing.co.uk/location.shtml
http://www.abakhan.co.uk/preston.asp
http://dixiequilting.co.uk/?Welcome_to_Dixie_quilting
don't know any of them myself so can't give recommendations, but it's amazing what the right search terms in google can get you!:happyhear0 -
if you want to buy fabrics that go the easiest way to do it is to buy a set of 'fat quarter' pieces Fat quarters are small pieces of fabric cut specially for patchwork and are often sold in sets of complementary coulours and patterns. (see LISTINGS:1" rel="nofollow">http://reviews.ebay.co.uk/WHAT-IS-A-FAT-QUARTER_W0QQugidZ10000000004020743?ssPageName=BUYGD:CAT
LISTINGS:1 for what a fat quarter is).
ebay will have plenty to choose from (search for fat quarters) or the more american based etsy.0
