Tesco's Computer says NO

That happened to me a couple of months ago in Sainsbury's. Except I was Mr Angry.
I'd got all my stuff piled on the checkout belt & the woman in front trotted off to sort out another purchase. After waiting long enough I just walked, leaving all my stuff on the belt.
If everyone in a similar situation did the same, Sainsburys would change their policy.0 -

Also why do people try and put comedy into complaints, it instantly sounds more made up for the purpose of humour rather than an actual account of a situation, therefore lessening it's integrity.
..The integrity of the warnings and rip offs board, are you for real..?
Perhaps the OP isn't " Mr.Angry from Esher",just a normal person....?0 -
I don't understand what the problem is. The voucher says you have to spend £2.50 to use it. You didn't and now are complaining about it.
As for the other voucher, it offered 20p off fruit and you are complaining because they wouldn't give you money off items which are not fruit.0 -
I think if you do a bit of reasearch (google) for instance you'll find that tomatoes and peppers are fruit.0

depends what tesco class tomatoes as
Not fruit, thats one of the thigns she's complaining about!
I think everyone has given her a hard time on this. In reply to whoever said 'Thats 8 people that have wasted their time by replying'....Who asked you to reply? If you think its that much of a waste of time then why did you do it? There's thousands of threads on here that you would consider 'wasting your time' yet you dont post in all of them stating it.
Welcome to MSE btw OP. Not everyone will jump down your throat for making a thread dont worry! This is my signature. There are many like it, but this one is mine.0 -

people havent jumped down her throat for making a thread, it was because the IOP tried to use a £2.50 when imo you need to spend more than £2.50 to be able to use said voucher0 -
