Band Aid 2004 Single

Hi

To get this single for a bargain 79p just download it from iTunes music store. It is easy to set up an account and then for just 79p you can download the track.
Don't worry about Band Aid not recieving as much money as from a CD single as Apple is donating an extra 70p everytime this track is downloaded. So its win / win for you and the hungry people of Africa.

Cheers

  • Why not give the 70p you save to Band aid as well so that they recieve £1.40. I'm sure that MSE's can waste 70p considering how much they have saved elsewhere. 70p will work a whole lot harder in Africa than in your pocket. :)

I think people would pay a whole lot more NOT to listen to it, It's total crap compared to the original.

They should just re-release the first one.

    It's a Classic. ;)

The original Band Aid video is on the new Live Aid DVD as is USA for Africa's "We are the World" .

I agree the new version is crap. They should have written a new song to release.

Don't really think MSE is about saving money on charity singles.

The Apple iTunes Store also has a 'Single of the Week' which you can download free every week. I've amassed a small collection of excellent tracks this way. (You still need an account to download the free tracks though)
  • Ditto - new version is ... so not good ...

Would have been better if they brought back the original members and done a reunion of artists. Loads of people would have bought for the nostalgia alone.

Talking of downloading music, This one is the best. Tracks are about 2p - 5p per track.

Re my earlier post re Allofmp3.com

They are trading legally as per their aggreement below -It is fine to use their services as long as you don't distribute tracks to others after downloading.

I'm sure no one in the UK copies tracks off cd's for each other on their computer....mmmm
