Burton's own and Jeff Banks suits

These suits are part of Burton's sale. I just bought a £165 suit for £100. They allow for student discount on top if you have NUS.
The lady said I could order additional trousers to match the suit at sale price too. This is unlike M&S who won't let you order sale items, even at full price.
The Burton suits have the woolmark logo on the label. Very good quality.

I just bought a couple of suits from Moss Bros, they've got a pretty good sale on suits at the moment, if that helps anyone. Tops, Shirts, Ties etc. were all on sale, and offered pretty decent savings as well.
Hope this helps someone.0 -

May I ask where you purchased the suit?! Burton In theory, shouldn't actually allow you student discount with sale items, but some, like myself, always offered it.
If you can find a suit you like and there are plenty... maybe hold on as third phase of sale goes on in just under a week! You may have the price dropped by £10/£20. If they don't have many, You can always reserve the item for later. This is ideal around about the 15th December as generally Burton will always hold your item for up to a month or sometimes more. You can then retrieve it when the sale begins/goes deeper.
Any general Burton questions and I should be able to help.0 -
Dont buy suits from burtons. I get mine from a factory place, i think its called the jeff banks studio. All their suits are nearly half the price that they are in burtons. Even with a student discount taken off.:j Midmac Aka Crazy baby :j0

The Lancaster store, although I managed it in Plymouth and Torquay in the past. Thanks for the tip about reserving, although I consider myself lucky to have found them.
With regard to the Jeff Banks studio/factory, I bet they are a lot cheaper but also a lot further away. No car at the moment0 -

I go to a one in hartlepool near me. The guy who runs the place is a gem, he recommends all the latest trends etc and tells you how much each thing is in burtons.:j Midmac Aka Crazy baby :j0

I was after a new suit in the sales, went in Moss Bros first who had a good range of suits but decided that before I buy I would check out the other high street stores. Dragged the wife round various stores for 2 hours before going back to Moss Bros. Very helpful assistant who said that if I brought two suits I'd get 20% off the cheapest suit. Ended up getting a £250 suit for £100 and a £299 for £159, both well known brands and 100% wool cloth.Matched betting profits since 11/10/06 = £1,5540 -
