I have received a letter from Equidebt telling me the account is due for review and if i do not call by 29th of November they will recommend to abbey that they re-instate the interest and charges to my account.
I have been paying the agreed amount at the agreed time and understand reviews are just another way to add pressure to me to pay more.
They are fully aware I will not be phoning them as I have clearly stated in all previous letters I do not wish to discuss matter on the telephone but will happily answer all letters.
Can they pass the account back? If not I wish to tell them to stop talking Bull and quote the relevant reasons
I am just writing a response- do feel tempted to quote about harassment of creditors- so if anyone has any suggestions please feel free to chuck them at me.
And anyone who has just started dealing with Equidebt- this is quite usual for them to send letters with lovely threats in- please do not feel bullied into paying more than you can afford but do respond to the letters (keeping copies of everything and proof of postage) and speak to the lovely people at CCCS or natonal debtline.
Thanks in advance to anyone who has any ideas how to move forward with this:D
