Am back from the sign language course and I'm shocked at how much I've forgotten since I missed last week's class. I'm definitely going to have to practice this week.

EQ - good luck with the course and I hope your OH comes round to being supportive and proud. I have a friend who's husband wasn't at all supportive of her 'improving' herself and it turned out he liked the idea of being mentally and academically superior to her! Then again he was just a complete !!!!!! in general.

  • Wow.

I decided to have a delivery from Abel and Cole. I haven't bought from them all year as pennies have been too tight, but decided to try a few things as a little treat (lemon curd yoghurt being one - looking forward to trying that!)

I spent enough (£25) to qualify for a free box of veggies as I haven't shopped with them for so long, I re-qualified as a new customer. It's just arrived and I got LOADS in the free box!!!!!

    I got

    apples
    bananas
    oranges
    radishes
    mushrooms
    carrots
    onions
    potatoes
    parsnips
Huge bag of spring greens type leaf

It's the £10.95 box and I thought it would be 1 or 2 of each with it being a freebie, but there is loads of it!
    Very impressed.

  • it was a nice surprise for the amount I got - about 8 oranges, 4 apples, 6 bananas, half a pound of mushrooms - really decent amounts of each. I probably won't use them for another year now, but once a year is nice to try different bits and bobs!!

I've just had my monthly asda shop delivered (the one OH pays for). I now have enough potatoes to stop any potential potato famine! And, an unordered and quite random tub of smartprice coleslaw which was also included in one of the bags!

Sammy, I think you've just bought the software hun. The £160 package includes drums, guitar and mocrophone I think

they are - yes. £10 I think for a new customer and then 5% each order. They used to do an amazing soya banana yoghurt, but don't do it any more which is a shame. I might take the parsnips into work as they just won't get eaten. I share an office with a vegetarian who grows all her own veg. She made some jam in the summer and gave me a jar and then gave me some of her courgettes so this will be a nice way to 'pay back' the gesture.

The version Argos had on offer was the game and one guitar so was quite a good deal. But Spud is right the £160 version is the whole kit

I'm just coming into Crewe. All I can say is thank goodness I had my DS with me. Couldn't settle to either my book or my killer sudoku but DS kept me occupied :)

How is everyone this freezing cold and windy evening.............sorry you are feeling so poorly Bunny.

Both of my boys love rock band and guitar hero. Xbox360 is broken at the moment though and apparantly microsoft will fix it for free as it is a common problem when the red ring of death appears on the front of the console.

I am feeling slightly better although my teeth feel like they may fall out at any moment (think it has something to do with synisus)

Where the fook is Jinky Malinky, she was supposed to be getting herself online today:confused:
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.
