referral posting question

hi, i`m just asking about posting on here as to where the referrals section is or how to post offers or if it`s allowed.I`m just wondering as my mum`s job is to do with weddings and she has just started doing a really good special offer to do with venue decor and I wondered if I`m allowed to say what it is anywhere as it is a "money saving offer" It`s nothing to do with me, I am unable to work, just don`t want to be seen as soliciting but to pass on the offer if anyone is interested?I have used these forums and saved loads of money myself in various areas and got loads of discount codes etc which is why I thought of finding out about it.xxx

You will need to post on the referrers board.

Your mum could also try advertising her business on Facebook - there are quite a lot of us wedding folks over there:D

Go onto Facebook.com and search Groups - look for weddings, brides, florists, marriage, engagement, wedding planners etc.

My own business is there as well as those of fellow student wedding planners, professional planners, etc. A lot of the sites are American (well, they would be) but there is no harm in adding a link to your business on their sites.

The Op keeps posting this in referral forum but never around to see the rules. Twice today they have posted this company in referral which is just a advert, they cant advertise in referral forum only as below

    REFERRERS BOARD

Posts should only be made on the Referrers board where site users have spotted a deal which can only be accessed via that person giving a referral/via their referral link. It is not for advertising goods/services/companies.

Are you referring to me with regard to this or to the person who originally started the thread. Yes I have mentioned that I advertise on facebook but I haven't given details of my business or the name of it. I am aware of the rules and never post contact details for my business on here.

I have merely suggested to someone who has asked that they can search on facebook for various wedding groups.
