Just a quick question, is there a recommended amount of money you are allowed for groceries? ie from cccs, government etc. to feed a family of 6 (2 adults 4 children).

Thank you for your reply, as i will be doing a soa i just wanted to get the official view.

Just been working out our grocery budget, we spend approx £600 per month.
working it out with the figures from National Debtline, we are allowed to spend between £615 and £944 so £600 isn't too bad.0 -
if you are trying to reduce your groceries bill try looking on the oldstyle boards.0

Thanks 98jdougl, just trying to balance the soa so we're not totally skint!
we do spend roughly £600 a month sometimes less, just wanted to put down the right figure for when we do have expensive months.0
