Yay! when i went to bank at 9am they said there was no issue and cheque will go through fine, they even looked at my acct and said the cheque showed as logged against my acct!!!! xxx
thankfully i wont have to get anotherr of heart!!!!! xxx

Hi all....

Just thought i would tell you all a very stupid storey.
Went to Leeds for wkend.. Didnt realise the Monday was the 1st Dec.
Our cat Tax run out.. Called DVLA they said was illegal to drive without a valid tax disc in the windscreen.. So.. my hubby went mad.. He had to get a Taxi home cost £200.. For me to stay in Leeds with the kids, he had to go to post office next day to get Tax and post to me in Leeds so i could drive home.. Got home on the Wednesday.. Been in bed with the Flu ever since..

Im so stupid!! lol..

OMG! :eek: Wouldn't the fine have been less than £200? I suppose your insurance would have been invalidated though so probably not a good idea to risk it.

We called the police and DVLA, they both said would invalidate Insurance and MOT.. even for 1 day out..
There are Specs on M1.. so couldnt chance being caught by the cameras..
Its so annoying.. you can pay for everything else over phone.. but not Car Tax..

oh gosh Domestedhousewife,glad you got back safely,what a pity re car tax Just cleaned my cleaning cupboard out and placed all the stuff back in It didnt take me long.I had gone out food shopping and when I came in the boiler pilot light went out and I tried to sort it and Dad also and we couldnt get it to work,I asked one of my neighbours would they mind trying and they did and they got it to work.They had to put the level up.got to watch the boiler and if its 0 again,they will fix it.I was so grateful,as had no hot water and heating wouldnt work.

dh got his delivered today, some kind of joke book in it, heard him laughing so must have been good, also a cadburys choccy bar, teatree shower gel, cd of a roaring fire, love it:D few other bits and pieces, good stuff
