back from dr, lo has a bacterial throat infection and has antibiotics to take, why didnt they say that on monday then!
rcb, glad tom is feeling better xx0 -
Woohooo, I won a netbook from Absolute Radio :j
But........... I have just realised that it puts me out of the running if they do the huge IOW festival ticket giveaway again like they did last year when we had to look for our name every hour. You can only win one prize over £100 with them in 6 months and that will take me to the 3rd June. B*gger, it's the only way we could afford to go too.
Well done Nicky
I don't mind entering for IOW festival tickets for you - not something I'd be able to use myself.
essexgal;)old enough to know better, young enough not to care;)0 -

I just had a call from NGKids to say we had won tickets to the vip hellboy party tomorrow night at the ripley beleive it or not museum....am really please as i dont usually enter these things as my ds has aspergers so really had hard to attend certain things for him, but think he will love this as they have over 200 wonderful weird things for him to see, food and other bits, so going to take a chance and take him, and hope he likes it.

nick i won an ipodtouch with absolute in octiber and they said in the letter no wins allowed for 6 months xxxxx
Thanks Toniq, I will probably get a letter with my lappy so will heed whatever they say in that, I knew you had mentioned it before and also I noticed last year on the IOW one that it said you couldn't enter if you had won a prize over £100 in the past 6 months, at the time I thought "some hope" lol. In fact, trying to win tickets for the Festival last year started all this!! I found the world of comping through being desperate to go to it, now look whats happened, it's gone full circle :rotfl:
Awww thanks Essexgirl! How I love this placeThat ain't working! That's the way to do it, money for nothing and TV's for free0 -

And your right Nicky, its not good
He's been back a few hours. So far he has taken over my pc, his brothers' room, the tv and eaten everything not nailed down. DH has taken to wearing his mp3 everywhere to drown out the noise Jamie creates!!! You know how teeenage boys can't talk or even shout, they bellow everything!!! He got a letter from RBS offering him the chance to go to a meeting to put his case re his not being kept on after his probation period is up. He said "stuff that for a game of soldiers" and tore up the letter.
Oh, the joys of being the parent of an 18 year old baby
