have to say though - its not the sort of thing my OH would like. He thinks its overkill and wouldnt really appreciate practical pressies that he can buy for himself anyway. he is a grinch though - I'd lvoe someone to do it for me.

I know what you mean - I like the idea of those jars with 365 little notes in but know that my boyfriend would be utterly nonplussed if I gave him one of those on Christmas morning!

i think men are just generally wired differently to women - we appreciate the thought more than they do - i think they just judge the item rather than the thought or sentiment attached - they can just look at something and think why on earth is she giving me that whereas we think, oh how lovely he's gone to the effort???
