How to dye a dressing gown

Does anyone know the name of a dye that can be used in a washing machine to dye a white cotton dressing gown Thank you.

    if its 100% cotton, then it should be ok, however most are a cotton mix, which means you need to use a dye that is suitable for synthetic fabrics. also although alot of clothing says 100% cotton, the thread used to sew it is usually synthetic, so that part might not dye

    Dylon sell dyes for all types of fabric, that can be used in the washing machine. Usually cheapest on ebay

  • You might find that the stitching does not dye. The thread used is usually synthetic and not cotton;)

    Edit: Sorry, I see Flea72 has already pointed this out.
