We didnt spend £600 on days out, but i needed the money for bills due to also being screwed by the tax credit system, and we never spent £300 on christmas either, i have car etc to fill with petrol aswell.
As for the sales, the things i bought were needed as i said earlier, i needed trousers for work and am fed up of sewing the last 2 pairs i owned and that were 2 sizes too big for me now aswell, so if thats not needed then i dont know what is!
My sons party is being payed for by my parents and we are only buyng him a few things. Which wont cost the earth.

Quite simple. By making penalty charges, what the bank is doing has no basis in law. If challenged, they will give them back. Try reading through the pages on the site below again.
