redundancy and loan payment help

Hello,
We have just found out my partner is being made redundant. We can scrape by with most of our debts but cant afford to pay our bank of scotland bank loan. The monthly payment is £185 which we just wont have. Everything is cut back to the bare minimum that we can get away with. Has anyone had any success in getting bos to accept a token amount? Do you think they would accept £30/month until he gets a job again? That is the max i can afford. I'm coping surprisingly ok with the news exceot im extremely annoyed that my debt free date is dissapearing into the distance lol. Any help/opinions/thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

The only suggestion is that it can do no harm to phone them and ask.I wish you luck.Surely £30 a month is better than nothing if you explain the circumstances.0

There will be redundancy pay. If it is taxed it will be £480 + holidays. If not taxed then £600. Everything is cut back to the bare bones already. He will be signing on, his notice period is 2 weeks.
Thanks, pop xDFW NERD NO. 1074 :T0
