I've just returned from Asda having bought two of their special Christmas gifts marked at £5 each, two for £8. At home I've checked my receipt and found that I wasn't given the £2 discount. I called Asda and having held on for 15 minutes (the number is a local one and therefore free to me), I was told they were sorry and if I called into any one of the stores, I would get the £2 refund. I'm just warning people who shop in Asda to make sure they are getting the advertised discounts.

i work for the big A and am sure they will refund u without no bother in the circumstances but just wanting to give you a wee heads up, were both the items marked with 2for8 just incase some other customer has dumped one of the items in that aisle and it wasnt on offer!
