Right I had a letter for a mobile phone bill which I do not owe anything I have payg phone.
I sent cca with postal order they now tell me that the contract is not covered by this cca and their client doesn't have to prove it
So please where do I stand

They are correect that the phone is not covered by the CC ACt, but they have to prove that the debt is yours.
So simply write back and tell them that you do not have/have never had a mobile phone contract and are therefore unable to have accrued this debt,. Suggest they chase the person who took the contract out and that if they contact you again you wiull make a formal complaint to the OFT and TS as they are chasing the wrong person.If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
