Knitting pattern wanted for slippers in chunky wool

Hi there

I have some balls of chunky wool laying around and thought I would knit myself some slippers and if they come out alright make some for others too. I would like the boot kind but cant find a pattern that tells you its chunky wool they are using. I am sure they are easy to make as my mum used to make them and she used to make 20 odd pairs a week for the charity shop where she worked.

Can anyone help please?

There are some good patterns here; most of them use chunky wool.

A lot of the patterns are very basic and you can substitute any type of yarn - just make sure to check your gauge!

Thanks Zimm I saw these patterens but wasnt sure if they used chunky yarn or not. I'll see if one of them has a trial square I can do

It's a really fantastic resource for knitters and crocheters. You have to apply to join and it takes a few days but is well worth the wait.
