HELP re:a+l Loan

does anyone know if you can take the payment protection insurance off the loan to reduce the repayments or would i get charged any suggestions would be great, thanks.

A+L loan but as I have already paid the intrest no point in paying it off early(dont get one) so going to save, save, save when cc paid off

    You need to check your policy document, but here's the wording from the A&L website...
    Payments are due monthly with your loan repayments. After the expiry of the cooling off period, your cancellation rights are set out in the policy.

    From the date of receipt by you of the policy document, we allow you 30 days to decide if you require loan protection. If you do not want to continue with this insurance, you may cancel your cover within the cooling off period (30 days) without charge, provided you have not made a claim, by writing to Alliance & Leicester Personal Finance Limited, Heritage House, 61, Southgates, Leicester, LE1 5RR.
