Has anyone had a problem getting the correct amount of money back from a purchase from Marks last 20% day?
I tried to take a handbag back to one of their stores today ( bought online) and it cost £79 so less the 20% should have been £63.20 and they only want to give me just over £61 back!! I refused and now have to send it back via post for the online dept. to sort out but I just cannot work out what they are doing. I also returned some towels and was 40p short of what I had worked out, but this was more complicated as there was also a 30% discount. I gave up on that but refused to be fobbed off with the refund for the handbag.

skateantibes - could that possibly due to the application of the VAT? Did you have the invoice/receipt etc?

Vinrose - can I just ask where you got the info from, ie anywhere official ?

My friend works at M&S and says it is def this thursday 4th.

Yes I did have my receipts and I too said that I thought it could be the VAT but the assistant said not . But I am not convinced!!

Argg i missed planet earth blu ray for £27 last time and now that a second sale day is comming it is out of stock online and when i ask instore they look confused as if the've never heard of blu-rays!?

Hi, Am going to visit before work as should be less busy...but do you guys know if they opened earlier? say 8am.......really dont fancy going there after work, as i will only be left with tights and scarfs on the shelves!
