Hi has anyone got any idears for xmas presents that I can get for my husband.
I would like to get him a few presemts of under £20 (preferably less) each.
I have allready got him a watch & a beanie hat (as he is allways moaning his head is cold when he goes to watch football, he cant play at mo as he tore his anterior crusiate ligament) when this happened I lost all my idears! I was planning on getin football and cycling bits as thats what he enjoys!
Any help gratefully recieved.
Thank you

Hiya, not sure what your husband likes but what about a sports biography, aftershave, football shirt, DVDs, computer game.
Just a few random thoughts.2014 20p savers club #2 I've given up trying to keep track of how much that pig eats!
2014 £2 savers club #3 - I've no idea, but the pig is beginning to get mighty heavy

I got OH one of those helicopters last year & he loves it (they range from about £15 up)
Muc off & some other cleaning bits for his bike (my OH uses Muc off on his motor bike though it is aimed at push bikes - & it brings them up fantastically)
If he does long bike rides what about a camel back so he can drink on the go (it is a rucksack with a built in drink container & long straw so you don't have to actually stop)
I always get OH a couple of DVD's.
What about a book on his favourite football team, or their calendar etc?

Thats for the idears. The problem is whenever he wants anything he buys it!!! He loves autobiographys but he has them all!
I will get that muc off stuff though. Thanks.
He wants a nice green coloured patterned tie but I cant find one anywhere. I got one for him a while ago from debenhams but it got wrecked and they dont seem to have any in now.
I got him a Helicopter last year (a bloody expensive one £300 with accesories as he wanted one and he has used it about three times!)
He has a car he is doing up as he cant play sports at the moment due to his injury but I wouldnt know where to start to get something from that.
Love him dearly but he is a pain in the butt when it comes to buying things for him.Money doesn't grow on trees,:j I wish it did!0 -
What about a book about the car he is doing up or other things along the theme of the model - small car model, mug, framed picture2014 20p savers club #2 I've given up trying to keep track of how much that pig eats!

Here are a couple of links to M+S that are under £20 for bra and knickers. The Autograph collections are more, but have 20% off, so that brings some of them to around £20- http://www.marksandspencer.com/gp/node/n/43240030/276-1524697-7859360?amp;mnSBrand=core

with all the other sales on, I'm sure there are more around.
It was just a thought anyway. DH liked it when I bought some a few birthdays ago. How far you go with the idea is up to the couple- serving wench outfit anyone?!
It's just that for a husband to enjoy a gift doesn't mean he has to be the one wearing it. (That theory probably won't work with jewellery though..)

How about a DVD box set? There are lots on Amazon for under 20 pounds. I've found Rome, Band of Brothers (those two in particular), Tudors, Arrested Development, Sharpe, and Hitchcock to have gone down very well. This year my Dad has mentioned he'd like to get Marx Brothers on DVD, which I've just bought for 15 pounds on Amazon.
Also, if he listens to comedy on the radio, Ed Reardon's week is excellent and available on audio - there's also a book, which is apparently very good!0 -
Top Gear DVD
What type of car is it? They might have an owners club you could join for him. I know MG, Jaguar, Mini, VW etc have owners clubs and its usually only about £20 ish for a years membership. They could also advise you on parts you can buy for him and if he is in an owners club they usually get you great discounts on your car Insurance.
You could find out if they have any meetings next year and you could maybe book a B&B or cheap travelodge and do a Car meeting weekend away.
We are doing one in June and I cant wait, there should be 200 little Nissan Figaros bobbing about around NorfolkHe he
I did a little box for my OH one Valentines that was full of bits of paper with all the things I love about him, things I wanted to do in the future, Memories we share etc. Just a small box. He loved that and it cost me nothing.
Does he have an MP3 Player? Tesco do a cassette tape that lets your car radio adapt to your M3 player, that was less than £10.
Errrrmmm Ill have another think and let yer know.
OOooohhh retro sweet jar always goes down well!0
