If you click on the question, you can find the answers on the right hand side. One I couldnt find was the sweat and the answer is 20% for normal products/ 1 litre per hour. The New Scientist article isnt entirely helpful either. I wont it the 3rd time round.

Had 6 or 7 products in the last year or 2.
Expecting another in the next week - secret is to record the questions and answers to save time - the database appears to be 120 questions and I've only encountered 1 that changed over many months.

On another note, I LOVE NIKWAX for ANOTHER REASON.

Some of you, if you've been to the site, may have seen the daily comp to win a Nikwax TOWEL.

Very special fleece type material that has a directional quality when wet moving water from 1 side to the other.

Anyway I got TWO of them this morning worth £18.99 EACH !

Not for winning the competition however

For pointing out an error in their terms and conditions that applied to the competition. That got me 1 of them anyway - with an email that had a bit of grovelling, humour and downright cheek.

Got a very friendly reply thanking me for my "eagle-eyed reading" and providing my "sworn secrecy" - a towel was mine.

Emailed back thanking them and pointing out 2 other more serious problems with their website - a contact form that generated an error if you used it and the fact that the email address to "report any errors" didn't exist.

More grovelling, wit, a story about my wife needing something to replace the threadbare rag she uses for a towel and that my "secrecy" could be "in doubt" if my wife's "disappointment" hit me hard emotionally.

Got another friendly and thankful reply saying "I drove a hard bargain but that it was well worth the positive and helpful feedback I had provided and that indeed a 2nd towel would be heading in my direction"

WELL DONE Nikwax customer service for the towels, the friendly attitude, the positive manner and the humourous banter in the email exchanges.
