As someone who has suffered financially from spam texts I would be very wary of texting this offer unless you have your mobile number registered with TPS.

Thanks for the advice, Edinburghlass. Have just entered the comp and won nothing. The last thing I want is loads of spam text. >:(

I never ever give out my mobile or telephone numbers to companies/websites anyway but didn't think that entering this could lead to spam! ::) I have just registered with the TPS, just to be on the safe side.

When I had the problem with spam texts, which I might add are sent to your phone BUT you pay for them, it was suggested to me that I might have voted on BB or similar using my mobile.

I had once voted on BB and once for Fame Academy (?) and texted Orange for BOGOF cinema tickets so who knows who then "sold" on my details but the texts came thick and fast until my credit ran out and they were adult type texts, not what you would want your kids reading :-/

Thanks for the advice edinburghlass, have registered my mobile number with them to stop spam texts. I think it might be worth you starting a whole new thread on this one so that everyone can benefit from this service (if there's already a thread on this, I've obviously missed it!)
