alright - sorry if someone's already mentioned this but Edinburgh has a shopping podcast with ideas for money-saving for xmas which is free to download from the link www.edinburgh-inspiringcapital.com.shopping
there's a facebook thing too which has just started too but has some freebies/offers etc form some of the individual shops. says it will keep updating them too so hopefully there will be some good bargains! it's on at www.facebook.com/home.php?#/group.php?gid=35902986242
