Default Gone - Credit Report

Hi I am new to this site but just wanted to share my exciting news with you today.
I have just found out that the default that has been showing on my credit report for the last 6 years has finally disappeared. It has been so hard over the last few years getting credit at good rates. Now all I want to do is be able to get a 0% credit card and pay off my debt as fast as I can.
With the default gone, now maybe there is hope.
I have worked hard at getting the monthly outgoings down, and have worked out I can throw £650 at the debt each month. So with 0% credit card would clear even quicker.
Anyway wish me luck, can't wait to have no debt at all...

Have you cut back on everything you can. Feel free to post a SOA on here to see if we can advise anything you've missed. Have a look at this thread for a template if your interested.
Sounds like your doing brilliantly though.

Hi all
Just to keep you updated on my situation. Since the default has gone on my credit report I have just been accepted for a 0% credit card with Mint. Now instead of my debt costing £1500 in interest, it should be about £27 going from the figures on https://www.whatsthecost.co.uk
It feels so great to know that the payments I will now be making every month will be going to pay the debt off and not the £19.95% APR anymore. Not sure what the credit limit will be. But hopefully it will be enough to cover most of the debt I have.
I hope this brings hope to anyone else that has had or still has a default on their credit report.0
