Hi - please can anyone help. We owed a feed merchant £3000 (now £5,423.90 after interest etc.)but they turned down our offer of monthly payments and took us to court but ended up accepting a lower figure. This we have been paying every month for the last year but we have just received a letter from the High Court Enforcement Officer saying their officers will visit us with a van on 3rd Dec. to seize goods to the value of the debt. We have not missed a payment so are they able to do this? What can we do.

It may be best to get in touch with the court. If there was a redetermination, then the payment amount could have been altered. You should have been notified if there was to be a redetermination so you should definately see if this is what has happened and see if you can have it set aside if there was.
Not entirely sure how it works for businesses, but i'm assuming the same procedure is followed.
Also possibly worth contacting nationaldebtline after seeing what the court has to say. After falling off the gambling wagon (twice): £33,600 (24,000+ 9,600) - Original CC Debt: £7,885.91
