    Short answer is no.

When you say Ireland - Northern, or Southern (Eire)?

If you ever retire I believe you are entitled to at least part of a state pension from here (depending on how many years of NI contributions you've paid), even if you live abroad (wherever in the world). I think that is the case, someone else correct me if I'm wrong!

If you leave part way through a tax year then you may be able to claim an income tax refund depending on how much tax you've paid - though I think it may depend which country you move to.
Indecision is the key to flexibility :)

If you move to another country you do not pay NI if you stop work or if you work for a company in your new country. Dependent on your age and number of years you have contributed you may still get a UK pension.
