Alternatives to scratchcard- pot of gold?

Ani idea what I can use as an alternative to scratchcards? Want to do mini ones for table decorations for christmas day but have my religious anti-gambling inlaws coming as well as my family ....

I thought maybe putting a fiver in a couple so it's pot luck but wondered if anyone had better ideas?

Thanks

I've done one 'pot of gold' in a gravy granule tub (covered the outside with coin images) and I'm putting a few pound coins among the choccy money.
The others I'm putting scratchcards in or maye lottery ticket

HI - I'm doing pots of gold without the gambling bit... I'm putting in sweets and chocolates for some - or where it is a main present - gold £1 or £2 coins as well.... I've used gold chocolate coins, werthers, quality street and ferrero rochers for the gold sweets etc... I sent one in to a xmas fair and it was well received. I put mine in a small wine glass with a poem with a leprachaun on it...
