If I Use My Overdraft Will That Affect My Credit Rating ?

Hello there

I thought i would write you a quick message this afternoon to see how you are and to say that i am having some money problems this year, and that it is now starting to worry me.

I currently have a overdraft of about eight hundred pounds with my main bank account. I am currently using some of this overdraft money to help pay towards bills etc.

My tenancy for the rented house which i am in expires in April, and i am looking to move to another property which might be a little cheaper.

When the new housing property company such as Chilters and Willam H Brown do a credit check on me, will it appear bad if i am using my overdraft.

It is just that i am not to sure how it worls etc.

  • I could be wrong, but I don't think using your overdraft will count against you. I was in an overdraft when me and OH rented our first property and everything went through fine then with credit checks etc.
