Can you transfer to another account or get another credit card (at 0%?)?

If you join a credit union, you may be able to get a loan at a better rate but you usually need to be a member for 2 or 3 months. I don't usually advise consolidation, but that is a horrible interest rate.

Have you missed payments on this card, or is it part of a DMP? If so can you request a copy of the CCA?

sorry - thought you had been around a while and knew the jargon. Must have been another pink something :)

DMP = Debt Management Plan - usually advised to go through CCCS or Payplan.
CCA = Customer Credit Agreement (If signed before 6th April 2007, the agreement must have certain terms on it to be legally enforcable)

I'm not sure about online applications. If it was before April 2007, it might be worthwhile doing a search on that. I would make a written request for the interest rate to be reduced, then possibly look at a credit union if no joy on the CCA.
