How do i deal with Bcw

We had an agreement for £10 a month on 2 accounts i have with them and i have been paying them for over a year now, in august they reset up the dd to come out on the 25th of each month rather than the 27th like it had always been and told me they could only take dd's on the 1st or the 25th so i asked for the 1st as i don't get any money until the 26th this was back in august so they told me i had to pay by debit card that month and the dd would be set up for september so i agreed, september came and the dd didn't come out, so i rang them up and they hadn't set it up so again i had to pay by debit card and they told me i would have to do this until the 1st november, so i agreed and paid sept and oct by debit card and novembers payment didn't get set up eventhough i'd rang to check it was set up with them, so 2 weeks ago i get a phone call from bcw saying my dd had been refused and they wanted money, i told them the dd wasn't set up in the first place and i'd rang my bank to check what had happened and they said bcw hadn't applied to set one up so i came to an agreement with bcw that the dd would be set up for the 1st december, i've just checked my bank and they said that they haven't even applied for it yet so i rang bcw as i don't want to be behind with payments, the first girl i spoke to told me the dd hadn't been set up although i have a dd guarantee in writing saying it has been and she'd need to reset it up for the 15th december i said i'd have to ring my partner and check with him as he pays it for me and i'd ring back, 5 mins later i rang them back to set up the dd for the 15th to be told by someone else that the dd is set up and they applied for it on the 13th november so it will come out on the 1st dec as agreed, now im 99% certain they've messed it up again and everytime i pay my debit card they charge me £2 on each account per month, so what do i do if they don't take it out on the 1st again?

Not my specialist subject, but could you set up a Standing Order to pay them direct from your bank account rather than rely on them setting up a DD? They sound as if they are enjoying making extra money off you every month! And I wouldn't those clowns with a DD anyway - who knows how much money they might take...

I'm sure someone more knowledgable than me will be along to gve you some better advice. :)

They are making a balls up .I would not trust them .Our advice is that no payments are made by DEBIT CARD or Direct Debit . There have been many cases where a company have taken out more than the agreed amount . Leaving you with no money for that month . Write to them , we also advise never phone. Tell them you have cancelled any DD to them and you will pay by standing order . Also that you will pay on a date that suits you . They will huff and puff but stay firm .
