Father Christmas In Dorset

Can anyone reccommend a good father christmas in dorset? My little boy is 16months and I want his first father christmas to be a good one.

I can't help with a place as I'm no where near you, but I just wanted to say it can be a bit hit and miss at that age whether they love him or not. My ds was fine at 21 months then screamed his head off a year later- luckily they refunded my money as he refused to go near him, but I don't know if everywhere would. My dd has always been fine though.
For that reason, I'd either go somewhere low key like a village hall etc which has one as part of their christmas farye or to an 'adventure type' or softplay place that has got one rather than just the father christmas at the shopping center, so at least if he does do what mine did you still have other aspects of the day for him to enjoy.0
