I wanna basic but decent digital camera

Hi all,
I'm looking to buy my first digital camera with 4/5 megapixels. I don't want anything too complicated or expensive, but do want a decent picture and preferably a self-timer and movie/picture mode. The Olympus Camedia almost fits the spec. I want, but doesn't appear to have the self-timer.
Found a couple of cheap ones on ebay which seem to "have it all", but never heard of the brands, so a little wary.
Any advice appreciated.
Thanks,
Mimi

Hi
Have a look at www.buyacamera.co.uk then search for Konica KD-30M Digital Camera, its £49.99 it is only 3MP but it's a lovely camera, got one for my son for Christmas, and has 30 sec video mode with sound. OH most miffed that it's better than his 5MP Olympus bought 2 years ago! Can't go wrong at that price.0 -
I got my 5 mp camera from tescos for £40. Its small, accepts SD cards and works like a charm! I'll see if I can find it to tell you what it is.:j Draco dormiens nunquam titillandus :j0

Have a look at Pixmania, I have recently bought a camera from them - they have a good range and are competative too. The Delivery is good and you can track your order.0
