  • Ahhh I had this trouble last year hehe, but now I've been with him for a year it's a little easier!

How about cooking him a nice dinner, give him with a massage, make him a cake? Food is the way to my man's heart, so I'm sure he'll appreciate it, and you can shop at lidl, asda etc for deals and savings. Make a nice evening of it! I'll try n think of more!

  • Thanks for the ideas guys :T
I only have £3 worth of tesco vouchers...so they wont get me very far!
But i think i will definitely use the baking idea...i might make him a GIANT cookie!
Also i've found this really cool thing that you can get from iwantoneofthose.co.uk it's like a usb chip but attatched to and old style mix tape!!!
Since he's a musician and we both love music and we're both kids of the 90's...i thought it would be perfect!!!
Now i just have to work out what songs to fill it up with!

Thanks again for the tips! XXX
  • on the song idea, how about all the number ones on his brithday for every year he's been born? I did one for mothers day gift for my mum, there were some brilliant tracks and some god awful ones but great nostalgic fun ;) You can find the list of what was number one on what date online somewhere, i found it before!

Here's a little idea I did for my OH after we'd been going out six months. I made him a mix CD of all the songs that reminded me of him since going out (and before as we were friends). I included songs by bands we'd been to the gigs of, songs we'd heard in the car together, etc. I then made a little story book to go with it (the story of us!) I'm no great artist, I just drew stick men and things, but I think he really appreciated the sentiment! Maybe you could do something similar?

Oooh, hopefully you'll see this message in time.

I don't know if you Sky Tv or Freeview or anything but at 9pm tonight there is something on called "Every number 1 of the 90's" on 4Music (channel 18 on our Freeview Box if that helps)

Thought you might get some ideas of tunes to put on his "mix tape"

    Big bow and some ribbon.

Wrap them round yourself...wearing whatever...or not...

Give yourself as a present...! :)
